How do you...? 用来询问方法。I practice by listening to one short clip twice.

by listening 说明练习的方式。I learn new phrases by checking example sentences.
我通过查看例句学习新短语。
by checking 后使用动词 -ing 形式。I track my progress by reviewing my notes on Sunday.
我通过周日回顾笔记来检查进度。
把方法和具体回顾时间放在同一句里。一句语法
用 by + -ing 说明怎么做
- by 是介词；表示方法时，后面的动词使用 -ing：by listening、by checking、by reviewing，不说 by listen。
- 用 How do you...? 询问方法，再用主句 + by + -ing 回答：How do you learn new phrases? I learn them by checking examples.
- 学习方法因人和目标而异。本课把方法写成可以执行和回顾的小步骤，不保证某一种方法适合所有人。
